Description:
- Northwest Kansas Technical College is seeking a Head Women’s Basketball Coach. Northwest Tech is a small, rural technical college in Goodland, KS, working to build on a tradition of excellence.
Responsibilities:
- The Head Women’s coach will report directly to the Athletic Director.
- Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Administer a NJCAA Division 1 program, including recruiting, scheduling, fundraising, travel, budgeting and practice plans.
- Coach, teach and train student in skills and strategies related to competition, mentor student athletes supporting their academic progress.
- Duties within the Athletic Department based on the candidates’s skill set and needs of the Department.
- Represent Northwest Tech and the Women’s Basketball Program in a professional manner, while observing college and NJCAA guidelines governing the sport.
Qualifications:
- A combination of a Bachelor’s degree and previous experience as a basketball coach at the high school or collegiate level is required.
- Prior collegiate playing experience is considered a plus.
Preferred Education:
- Masters
Salary:
- $30,000.00 – 40,000.00
