Nature of Work | This full-time position will be responsible for all aspects of team coaching, academic progress, strength and conditioning, recruiting and retention of student-athletes, public relations, budgeting, fundraising and related activities. |

Essential Duties | Responsible for all aspects of the men’s basketball program: direct and coordinate the planning, organizing and coaching of the men’s basketball team and staff.
Provide leadership and instruction in the personal growth and athletic development of student-athletes. Ensure student-athletes are progressing towards graduation. Ensure compliance with Armstrong, Peach Belt Conference (PBC) and NCAA DII policies and regulations. Oversee recruitment, retention and scholarship activities, travel arrangements, scheduling, budgeting and fundraising while maintaining all records necessary for the program. |
Minimum Qualifications and Training | Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of 5 years coaching experience at the collegiate level. Proven collegiate athletic recruiting experience. A commitment to the academic and athletic success of the student-athlete. |
Preferred Qualifications and Training | Master’s Degree
A thorough understanding of all Armstrong, NCAA DII and PBC rules and regulations. NCAA DII Coaching and collegiate playing experience. An understanding and application of scholarships at the NCAA DII level. |
