“In a survey of NCAA Division I coaches conducted by ESPN.com, Belmont men’s basketball coach Rick Byrd was ranked among the nation’s best tacticians. The poll, conducted by ESPN.com college basketball insider Jeff Goodman, ranked NCAA Division I men’s basketball coaches based on their ability to communicate and execute a game plan, make in-game adjustments and diagram plays.”
