Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach Job Description:
Belmont Abbey College, an NCAA Division II institution, invites applications for the current opening as the Assistant Coach of Women’s Basketball. The successful candidate for this position will assist the head coach in all aspects of a very competitive collegiate basketball program including the recruitment of qualified student-athletes, budgeting, scheduling, competition and practice preparation, and individual and team development. Preference will be given to those candidates that can demonstrate past accomplishment in coaching and vision in the recruitment of student-athletes that fit well with the institution’s mission and character as a distinctively Catholic and Benedictine college. Minimum qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s Degree as well as previous collegiate coaching experience.
