Director of Women’s Basketball Operations Job Description

The Athletics Department at Towson University is currently accepting applications for a Director of Women’s Basketball Operations to conduct the daily operations of the program.
Responsibilities: Serve as Team Operations Coordinator including coordinating team travel itinerary for home and away games; coordinate with Head Coach for all practice, position meetings, team meetings, and scheduling arrangements; serve as the liaison on all housing and financial aid matters; work with the Head Coach on all Marketing and Communications printed and visual recruiting material; serve as liaison with High School Coaches, organizing on campus meetings; coordinate basketball camps, including budget, housing, dining hall, room assignments, and more; organize regional AAU coaches meetings on campus; organize annual Women’s BasketballClinic or Mini-Clinics; and other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, two years related experience in the sport of Basketball; and knowledge of NCAA regulations. A Criminal Background Investigation is required for the hired candidate and the results may impact employment.
Salary: Competitive salary and a contract that offers annual leave, sick days, holidays and tuition remission. The position is contingent on funds being available at time of hire.
