Basketball Coach Job Description:
The Head Men’s Basketball Coach, under the direction of the Athletic Director, directs all aspects of the Men’s Intercollegiate basketball program.
Duties include, but are not limited to; fundraising, recruiting, practice and game schedule planning, budget management, oversight of sports Assistant Coach(s), equipment and uniform procurement and tracking, understanding and adhering to NCAA Dill Bylaws, sport specific rules, UCSC and Athletic Department rules and procedures and other duties as directed by the Athletic Director.

Additional Salary Information: Salary by Agreement: $15,000 for the academic year/coaching season. Payment schedule to be discussed during interview.
Experience coaching men’s basketball teams
Ability to work within the NCAA Division III philosophy
Ability to effectively communicate with and be sensitive to the needs of an ethnic and gender diverse population
Good verbal and written communication skills
