Basketball Coach Job Description:
- Belmont Abbey College, an NCAA Division II institution, invites applications for the current opening as the Assistant Coach of Men’sBasketball.
- The successful candidate for this position will assist the head coach in all aspects of a very competitive collegiate basketballprogram including the recruitment of qualified student-athletes, budgeting, scheduling, competition and practice preparation, and individual and team development.
- Preference will be given to those candidates that can demonstrate past accomplishment in coaching and vision in the recruitment of student-athletes that fit well with the institution’s mission and character as a distinctively Catholic and Benedictine college.
Basketball Coach Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s Degree as well as previous collegiate coaching experience.
