Azusa Pacific, an Evangelical Christian university, is seeking qualified candidates for position of Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach. The assistant coach is responsible for assisting with all aspects of an NCAA Division II Basketball program including, but not limited to, the identification and recruitment of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes; supporting the academic progress of student-athletes; preparing and conducting individual and team practices, training, and competition; fostering the academic, athletic, and personal growth of student-athletes; assisting with team and staff travel arrangements; administrative duties and paperwork; assisting and administering men’s basketball summer camps and tournaments; and representing the sports program as needed in association with promoting and fundraising for men’s basketball. A commitment to upholding the faith and academic missions of the university is required.
