Parkland College invites applications for the position of Men’s Basketball Coach. Parkland College is a comprehensive two-year community college located in East Central Illinois and offers a full range of academic, vocational and technical educational opportunities to over 11,000 students.

This part-time position includes effective team coaching and recruitment, managing budget and equipment, directing coaching staff, monitoring student-athlete conduct, and maintaining high standards of team accomplishment on the court and in the classroom. Compliance with Parkland College, M-WAC, Region 24, and NJCAA rules and requirements is expected and required. Person’s applying for this position may choose to apply for the coaching position by itself or inconjuction with the Athletic Department Associate-Academic Monitoring position.
Minimum requirements for this position are a bachelor’s degree and head coaching at the high school level or head or assistant coach at the collegiate level. Applicants with knowledge of and experience with working at the NJCAA level is also preferred
