Job Description:
- The head women’s basketball coach is responsible for all aspects of the Women’s Basketball program including but not limited to coaching, running practices, recruiting, preparing and scouting video, travel plans and contest scheduling, budgets, web updates, supervision of academic status of students, helping lead students towards being positive and contributing members of the community, game management, management of statistics, help with running clinics, camps, fundraisers and paperwork. Other roles in the position may be established based on the applicant’s strengths.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, previous coaching experience or equivalent, excellent oral and written skills, ability to support high academic and Christian standards, demonstrate enthusiasm for sport program goals, knowledge of NAIA rules and regulations, to lead by example, specifically a Christ-like example, and to be passionate about coaching and the opportunity to impact young adults.
