| Position Description: | Assist the head women’s basketball coach in all areas of coaching a Division I collegiate women’s basketball program, can include but not limited to: recruiting, scheduling, practice/game management, scouting opponents, academic supervision of student-athletes, public and alumni relations, fundraising and maintaining social media sites for the women’s basketball program. Travel will be involved, including weekends and holidays. Other duties as assigned. Must have a thorough knowledge of and commitment to compliance and follow all NCAA, conference and UND rules and regulations. Must provide support and encouragement and ensure the safety and well being of the student-athletes. Women and Minorities are encouraged to apply. |
| Required Qualifications: | • Bachelor’s degree • Minimum of 5 years Womens BB Division I or II coaching experience • Experience scouting opponents and using scouting software • Recruiting coordinator experience at the DI or II level • Experience with team travel and game scheduling • Player development and strength and conditioning development experience of the student-athlete • Criminal history background check |
| Preferred Qualifications: | • Knowledge and commitment to NCAA Division I rules and regulations • Experience serving as a DI or II Women’s BB camp development director • Experience serving as the compliance officer liaison • Recruiting at the DI or II level and also in the upper Midwest |
